Rio Ferdinand Joined The Various Voices Calling For The Departure Of Paul Pogba From Manchester United


Paul Pogba’s departure from Manchester United seems to be closer than ever. Jamie Carragher already made his opinion clear on the matter a few days ago after some words of Mino Raiola, agent of the footballer, in which he alluded to a move for Pogba.

The last one to talk about it was Rio Ferdinand in statements on ‘BT Sport’. The ex-footballer believes that the club for which he gave so much should get rid of the French midfielder, as he believes it is the best for everyone.

“Free Pogba, please. The guy comes in, he’s got a very good performance and it seemed like something we were used to seeing when he was at Juve or with France, but which we’ve only seen sporadically during his career with Manchester United,” he said.

The truth is that Pogba has gradually lost importance in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United. The Frenchman has played 13 games, but only six of them as a starter.

Nor did Solskjaer bet on him in the vital Champions League match against RB Leipzig on Tuesday. His departure seems already evident, we will whether that takes place in January or June…
